Ottumwa Community School District
As our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, the Ottumwa Community School District invites veterans and community members to join in honoring those who have served our country during Veterans Day celebrations on Wednesday, November 11, at Evans Junior High and Ottumwa High School.

Evans Junior High School
Evans Junior High will host a Veterans Day celebration beginning with a social and breakfast for veterans from 8:10 to 8:40 a.m. in the Professional Development Center. An assembly will follow from 8:40 to 9:30 a.m. in the Evans gymnasium, featuring a veteran guest speaker.

All veterans are welcome to attend!

Ottumwa High School
Ottumwa High School will host a Veterans Day assembly from 10:00 to 10:55 a.m. in the gymnasium. The program will include performances by OHS Fine Arts students, a guest speaker, Sarah Ziegler, and a presentation of colors by the OHS Color Guard.

A luncheon will follow on the Gym Concourse. The OHS celebration is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.

As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, Ottumwa Schools recognizes the generations of men and women whose service and sacrifice have helped protect our nation's freedoms. We are proud to honor the veterans in our Bulldog family and community and extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served.
